Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts.
And we are never, ever the same.

Last Friday,
Felt like it might be our last snow day here in Buffalo.

And then it dawned on me,
That I will miss days like these;
waking up to fields of white,
and tracing your footsteps in the snow.
When I finally do leave.
