Dusk and Summer

Today, a friend asked if I was happy.
Having something to do, something to love, and something to hope for are the essentials to happiness.
So yes, I think I am contented (:

With so much free time on my hands, I'm not complaining.
But with only 2 days in school and the rest of the week off, it sure does bring disaster of a certain kind to my wallet. So I'm still pretty surprised I get to fish out a $2 note among the tons of receipts that are fast accumulating.

I've been in the mood for filling up the room with new things recently, which is exactly what I've been doing. See the Beatles poster. Piece by piece, printed and stuck together like a huge jigsaw. The inexpensive alternative to finding an authentic Beatles poster, although yes, I would still like to get my hands on one, better yet, signed! (:

And don't get me started on the other things that keep me busy. Twitter has taken over my life so much such that I now think thoughts in 140 characters or less and my blog is now becoming stale because everything is already said and done by tweeting. And I have so far realised sleep can be pretty addictive. And one good goal to set for onself is to actually aim to fall asleep just as you reach your bed, but before you hit the pillow. I'm still working on that.

And June means summer.
Which also means unbearably hot weather,
(penguins do not survive this heat!)
and your birthday somewhere towards the end of this month ((:
