Angels Or Devils

yay! i just got my "We Will Rock You" ticket ((:
my mom went to pick it up for me yesterday! haha, i'm so happy that i'm going. although, yes, i'm going alone. that's why u see only ONE ticket. i couldn't convince anyone to go with me, even my mom so i decided to make full use of the "student" concession while i can still flaunt my status as a student! hence, the pretty-looking price for a Category A seat rather than blowing $140 for a place in the same seating area.

so yep, i'm going! *makes a personal note to not work on THAT day.

and where did my week go?
i worked 2 days the past week and will be working tomorrow and on Sunday as well. eeks, MY WEEKENDS! ): my 2nd day at the restaurant wasn't so bad! ((: i realised that i gave clues about my whereabouts in my last post so you'll figure where i'm at.

there was another girl i met when i went back to work on Wednesday, and she's been working there for 2 years now. oh wow; *salutes! she seems much friendlier than the others and happen to share my same sense of crap. haha! whatever that means :D suddenly, i feel like meeting friends i haven't met in a long time.. AND, oh yes i took my first order! yay (: there's to seat customers, set the tables, serve, bill and clear as well! and then they were telling me about the Head Chefs and Sous Chefs and thought that i didn't know what the inventory was. ahh, FSM right? haha (:

so i guess i'm slowly learning to enjoy my temp job. although yesterday when i was out and browsing shoe shops, i had the urge to go get an office job so that i can wear formal.. and give myself an excuse to buy another pair of heels! (: okay, i'm making no sense la.

i spent the whole of yesterday at home since i wasn't feeling well. and had the rare privilege to just eat chocolate all day while watching TV and DVDs. my day off! (: and then i tried to bake but couldn't find the inspiration (or the strength..)

and because it was my brother's 16th birthday as well, he was in an especially good mood and we all went out for dinner like my mom promised!

at pasta de waraku:
they have over 70 different varieties of pasta to choose from. and my dear brother has never been there so it's his first visit.

we all had nice pastas, a mixed fry tempura set and an unagi pizza to share (: it was okay-ish overall :D

then we had the desserts!
maccha ice cream (green tea) was good (: in fact, i'm starting to fall in love with ALL green teas ice cream. This one has a sweet taste to it, not bitter at all..
